Praise and Glory Ministries is one that desires to see the name of Jesus lifted up through verbal praise, prayer, dance, declaration, prophetic acts, and the laying on of hands. We desire to impart healing, deliverance, and wholeness to those individuals who have experienced adverse life circumstances and personal crises. Together, we work to encourage, promote, and report on all that the Holy Spirit is saying and doing in these last days before Jesus returns. We desire to see, first of all, the church of Jesus Christ in revival, and then see this spread outside the walls to the greater community and across the Nation of Canada.
About Val and Darrell Forsyth

Darrell and Val met in Hay River, NWT in 1981 when Darrell was working with Transport Canada as an Electronic Technician on the navigational aids at the Hay River Airport. Val was working as a Registered Nurse with the Sub-Arctic Mission at the H.H. Williams Memorial Hospital.
Heading up Women’s Ministries and the Boys and Girls Club there, they also participated in several Bible studies and prayer gatherings.
Two children and nine years later, they moved to Sherwood Park, in the Edmonton area. There they assisted with ushering, and teaching Sunday School, as well as enjoying various Bible studies and men’s and ladies gatherings.
When Darrell’s job moved the family to the nation’s capital, Darrell and Val found that their spiritual growth really took off! They started to have God encounters, dreams, visions, and a ministry was gradually birthed.
In between attending a very close-knit prayer group that has Val attended for over three years, Val started writing blogs for Destiny Word Ministries International, and then was called of God to start writing the accounts of the people touched by God in the “Great Revival coming to Canada.” She began and edited a small leaflet newspaper called The Praise Papers in order to share the stories of the individuals, groups, and communities across Canada where the Spirit of God was moving and changing lives.
As Val coordinated and taught Sunday school, she realized that she couldn’t always find suitable materials to use, so she developed and used her own curriculum with great success. It was entitled, Kids of the Kingdom. The Sunday school attendance during the series was the highest it had ever been for that class. Two more in the series will be coming out in the next year: The King Came Down, and The King Will Return. Eventually, she intends to have a whole year’s worth of lessons available by including a spring session on Sowing and Reaping.
A desire to worship and dance before the Lord, resulted in the idea for and the development of a dictionary to be used as a resource for worship dancers. (Still in the works.)
Darrell also, was enjoying the closeness of a regular men’s prayer group. As he grew spiritually and sought the Lord, he realized that his lifetime dream of learning languages and history could be used for God’s glory if he could minister to those who had experienced war, the holocaust, and other traumatic events in their lives. God has revealed to him that as he prays, speaks out words of declaration and hope, and lays his hands on those individuals, that they will be set free to live freely and without hindrance from their past painful situations.
