Proofreading is $2.50/page with a minimum charge of $10 per document and involves going through the manuscript or text and correcting all spelling mistakes, spacing and punctuation. Grammar, incorrect word usage, or formatting issues are NOT addressed!
Complete copyediting is $5.00/page with a $25 minimum charge per document and involves correcting all the spelling, punctuation, spacing, formatting, layout, grammar, and word usage, as to make sure the writing is clear, concise, correct, consistent, and flows well.
I will clarify with you before I begin any work as to the cost and when the work will be completed.
I use Microsoft Word and will highlight the changes in red, using "track changes" if you are familiar with that. If you are not familiar with that feature on the Word program, I print out or read the document you provide me, and I will proofread or copyedit those and return them to you by mail so that you can make the changes yourself on your final document after you see the changes I have made.
